A case-based look at dynamic water loads, wave-system controls, independent treatment and commissioning for an educational wave exhibit.

Static pressure is not the whole load case

In a wave exhibit, repeated water movement creates cyclic loading and a fatigue question at the viewing panel and supporting interfaces. Structural review therefore follows the intended wave behaviour rather than treating the exhibit as a conventional static tank.

Separate wave-making from water treatment

The domestic case record describes coordinated but independently operated wave and treatment circuits. This helps prevent exhibition turbulence from compromising biological treatment while keeping water clarity and system stability within the operating plan.

Commission with measurable acceptance criteria

Wave height, wavelength, frequency, repeatability and equipment states can be verified during commissioning. The precise acceptance values remain project records and should be confirmed directly with Botao and the owner.
