An educational wave-pool exhibit in Tianjin integrating mechanical wave generation, an acrylic viewing window, independent water treatment and coordinated system controls.

A dynamic educational exhibit

Botao’s domestic project archive identifies this installation as the wave pool in the Ocean Disaster Hall of the National Maritime Museum in Tianjin. Unlike a static display tank, the exhibit creates adjustable mechanical waves to demonstrate ocean phenomena.

Dynamic loads and coordinated controls

Repeated wave action changes the loading regime at the acrylic viewing interface. The wave equipment, supporting structure, viewing panel, independent water-treatment loop and control sequence therefore have to be evaluated as one system.

Commissioning against measurable behaviour

The source record describes verification of wave height, wavelength and frequency as part of commissioning. Project-specific values and acceptance records should be reconfirmed with Botao before they are used in procurement documents.
