Service life depends on raw-material quality, casting and bonding, installation, exposure and cleaning practices. High-quality PMMA raw material and controlled production reduce yellowing, crazing and ageing risks. The main operating costs are life-support energy, water-quality management, animal care, panel cleaning and equipment servicing. Good design lowers long-term cost by providing maintainable equipment, accessible service routes, suitable redundancy and documented operating procedures.

Ultra-thick panels require engineered packaging, route and lifting studies, suitable cranes, controlled site positioning and a coordinated sealing method. Transport dimensions, lifting openings, installation bases and protection measures should be confirmed before production.
