A transportable 7.2-metre aquarium engineered for repeated assembly and a four-city exhibition programme, with rapid-start life support and transport-aware sealing details.
Engineered to move
Botao’s domestic archive describes a 7.2 × 3.4 × 2.6 metre mobile aquarium carrying approximately 60 tonnes of freshwater for a four-city exhibition programme. Repeated transport and assembly made sealing, lifting points, structural interfaces and rapid commissioning central design concerns.
A temporary installation still needs permanent discipline
A touring aquarium requires a planned logistics sequence, site checks, fast-start circulation, water preparation and an animal welfare plan. The system must also tolerate different venue constraints and local water conditions.
