Life-support design, aquaculture management, commissioning, equipment maintenance and responsive after-sales service.

Water quality by design

Life-support design starts with freshwater or marine conditions, water volume, species, stocking density, feeding load and operational targets. Mechanical and biological filtration, disinfection, temperature control and circulation are then sized as a coordinated process.

Operations and after-sales support

Botao provides commissioning, husbandry support, planned maintenance and technical assistance. Maintainable access, sensible redundancy and clear operating procedures are addressed during design.

Questions / Answers

Frequently asked questions

What does an aquarium life-support system include?

A typical system may include mechanical and biological filtration, protein skimming, disinfection, temperature control, water-quality monitoring, circulation pumps and pipework. The final process depends on fresh or salt water, volume, stocking density, species and operating goals.

How does saltwater aquarium design differ from freshwater design?

The two differ in water chemistry, corrosion exposure, life-support processes, animal compatibility and husbandry. Marine systems usually need tighter salinity control, protein skimming, suitable disinfection and materials selected for saline environments.

Will an acrylic aquarium panel deform?

Acrylic exhibits time-dependent creep under sustained load. Engineers control deformation through suitable thickness, span, support geometry, material data and safety factors, with allowances established before production.
